C317 outdoor lounge chair

Designed in 1965 by Japanese designer Yuzuru Yamakawa, the classical design of the C317 lounge chair is  still going strong today. The woven shell of the chair is available in either natural or black rattan for indoor use or a recyclable PE rattan in honey suitable for outdoors on a white or black powder coated sled frame.

Yuzuru Yamakawa designed and worked with rattan for over 40 years. Loved by Japanese and European markets alike, his designs have stood the test of time. His passion for the material is evident in his designs, which are not only beautiful but functional, with an emphasis on ergonomics.
