In our sewing atelier in Dalfsen, we craft linen bedding, curtains, cushions, tablecloths, and quilts. Each piece is handmade to order using sustainable local materials and circular production methods. 100% linen gives your home a warm, natural look and is free from plastics, chemicals, and harmful substances. The fabrics are woven in Europe and processed in our own atelier. We consciously choose materials that are good for both you and the planet. A natural home feels good and is good for you. The By Mölle collection is made from pure, ecological, top-quality materials: European linen, mohair, organic wool, and recycled denim. Every piece is carefully designed and selected for quality, certifications, and sustainability.
Mölle means ‘mill’ in the local dialect. Our atelier and showroom are near the mill in Hoonhorst, where we started in 2012. The windmill blades are reflected in our logo—a strong, sustainable symbol, as windmills have been running on wind energy for centuries: natural, renewable, and kind to the earth.
linen curtain specialist
By Mölle specializes in pure linen curtains and custom-made linen roman blinds. All curtains are made to order in our own atelier. We work with the highest quality ecological fabrics from Europe’s best weavers and offer a complete service, including measuring and installing your linen curtains, blinds, or shades. We’ll advise you on the best solutions and also provide rails, rods, and wooden blinds.
repair service
In addition to reusing materials, we believe it’s important for products to last as long as possible. That’s why we offer a repair and alteration service. We can alter By Mölle curtains for your new home, transform linen sheets into cushions, and repair products whenever possible. Linen scraps that can no longer be used are sent to our recycling partners.
circulair design
Every year, 210,000 kilotons of textiles are discarded in the Netherlands, with 65% ending up in incineration. A waste, since much of it is still reusable. By Mölle is committed to sustainable innovation and craftsmanship. Our recycled denim collection, Design out Waste, gives old jeans a second life as soft yarn for throws and cushions. Our eco-mattress is made from natural, fully recyclable materials—free from foams, glues, and chemicals. The bed basics collection, featuring duvets and pillows filled with 100% recycled down, is locally produced and free from unnecessary additives. Turning waste into something beautiful to enjoy for years to come.
