what inspires you in your work?
"I am inspired by the personal stories and wishes of my clients. Each design is tailor-made, using sustainable materials that fit their lifestyle. For me, an interior is not just beautiful but also practical and flexible, so it can grow with changing needs. Preserving the soul of the home is key. By listening carefully and working closely with architects and other experts, we create spaces that feel comfortable, last long, and provide an inspiring, sustainable foundation."
how did Studio Rede come about?
"After studying interior architecture in Rotterdam, I started my own design studio in 2005. In 2016, the name changed to Design Studio Nu, where I worked on many special projects with joy and passion. In 2024, it felt like the right moment to start a new company: Studio Rede. With twenty years of experience, I wanted to create more room for my own vision and collaborate with a team of professionals. This allows me to design interiors that truly fit the client while radiating peace and harmony."
why did you choose By Mölle linen curtains?
"I prefer sustainable materials in my home and projects because they are not only eco-friendly but also create a warm and soothing atmosphere. By Mölle’s curtains bring a calm, natural feel to the space, and you can sense the care and craftsmanship in every fiber of the fabric. It’s a choice that’s not only beautiful but also contributes to a healthy living environment."
