110 gr/m2 linen is a lighter sheer linen fabric that filters daylight while maintaining a high level of transparency.
200 and 220 gr/m2 linen fabrics are fuller-quality fabrics. They provide more privacy and have a richer drape. These fabrics are suitable for living rooms and bedrooms where greater privacy is desired.
Pure linen fabric does not block the light. The fabric filters daylight but always allow some light to pass through. If you want a dark bedroom, we recommend dim-out lining. This way, you retain the look of linen while blocking most of the light. If you want complete darkness, a blackout lining is the best choice.
Linen has a natural texture and can wrinkly a bit. This is part of the material's charm and gives linen its character. With the right tailoring the curtain hangs beautifully and will naturally shapes itself to its drape.
The price of custom-made linen curtains depends on several factors. Consider the selected fabric, the dimensions, any lining, and the installation method.
To give an indication, the price of a meter finished linen curtain with a single pleat and 260 cm high starts from 350 euro.

Linen is naturally strong and durable and requires little maintenance under normal use. If cleaning is necessary, carefully follow the care instructions for linen curtains to preserve the fabric's quality and drape. For large curtains we recommend having them cleaned by a professional laundry service.
Curtains with a lining should be cleaned at a professional dry cleaning service.
