Frama Rivet Shelf

The Rivet Shelf explores basic storing facets within one shape while functioning as a storage and display platform. Based on a riveting technique suitable for making perpendicular joints between separate, laser-cut raw aluminum sheets, the shelf is put together by hand using a hammer in a cold-forming assembly process.

The Rivet Shelf can hold 10 kg (depending on wall material and mounting). Suitable for indoor and outdoor; if placed outdoors it will develop a graceful patina over time but will not rust nor deteriorate.

The creative headquarter of Frama Studio is based in Copenhagen. Nestled in the impressive St. Pauls Apotek which was established in 1878. Frama often uses untreated materials such as aluminium and bronze in their designs, materials that age beautifully over time and that contrast well with warm and natural interior tones
