Handthrown ceramic plate S

This beautiful small plate is handmade for us in a limited edition by Carien Kuypers van Dongen. In the serene landscape along the IJssel, Carien creates ceramics using pigments she collects near her studio. The result is remarkable and unique, with textures and colours shaped by the river and the surrounding landscape. 

The plate is made from stoneware and has a matte glaze on the inside. It's practical, versatile, and easy to use. Each bowl is handcrafted: from preparing the clay, throwing it on the wheel, drying, firing, glazing, and finally the fine finishing touches. Due to the handmade nature of this item, each plate will vary slightly in size and color, making every piece truly unique. The bowl is dishwasher-safe, but we recommend handwash.
