Handthrown pasta bowl grey

This beautiful pasta bowl is handmade for us in a limited edition by Carien Kuypers van Dongen. In the serene landscape along the IJssel, Carien creates ceramics using pigments she collects near her studio. The result is remarkable and unique, with textures and colours shaped by the river and the surrounding landscape. 

The bowl is made from stoneware and has a matte white glaze on the inside. It's practical, versatile, and easy to use. Each bowl is handcrafted: from preparing the clay, throwing it on the wheel, drying, firing, glazing, and finally the fine finishing touches. Due to the handmade nature of this item, each bowl will vary slightly in size and color, making every piece truly unique. We recommend handwashing this pasta bowl. Please note that due to the natural glaze craquelé can occur.
