FAQ

How do I take the measurements?

A window with a curtain rail

1. Measure the total length of the curtain rail, this is the curtain width.

2. Single pleat: measure the distance from the top of the rail to the floor. This is the length of your curtain. For oversized curtains you add 1 to 2 cm to the total length.

3. Wave pleat: measure the distance from the bottom of the rail to the floor. This is the length of your curtain. For oversized curtains you add 1 to 2 cm to the total length.

A window with a curtain rod

1. Measure the length of the pole between the decorative ends, this is the width of your curtain.

2. Measure the distance from the top of the pole to the floor. This is the length of your curtain. For oversized curtains please add 1 to 2 cm to the length.

What headings are available?

single pleat

A single pleat has 3 to 4 cm deep pleats with an adjustable hook on the back that can be hung at a curtain rail system with runners.

wave pleat

A curtain with a wave pleat hangs below the curtain rail and is kept in place with a cord at the back of the heading. This creates a 8 cm deep wave (total 16 cm).

European Flax® Certified linen

Our linens are grown, woven and sewn in Europe by talented artisans using only highest quality flax. Linen fabric is made from flax, it is the only plant textile fibre that originates from Europe and one of the most environmentally friendly fibers in the world.

After harvesting the flax goes to historic makers. The mills take care of all the stages in the process of creating our linen fabric, from flax to fabric. Over 5000 years ago the Egyptians called linen 'woven moonlight', because of its beauty.
