We are happy to introduce these handmade ceramic cups. Made for us by Dutch artist Imre Bergmann. Her work is of the very best quality: natural, simple and honest. She turns all her pottery by hand in the traditional way using earthy materials. Each mug is individually created with love and attention to detail in her studio in Amsterdam and is therefore unique. The ceramic mugs are pure in beautiful organic tones, nice to hold and a pleasure to use. Perfect for a cup of coffee, tea, hot chocolate or soup. Available in brown and natural.

"I love working with my hands. Ceramics are really slow design. You need focus. Born through the attention, passion and love of the maker. Nothing in the ceramic process can be rushed and everything takes its own time. Which I like in a hectic world where everything is going faster. I make simple, pure shapes. Slow designs for everyday use. The cup is made of stoneware. The outside is unglazed so you feel the texture of the clay well. The inside has matte transparent glaze. Convenient to use and multifunctional. Each mug is made by hand. The preparation of the clay, turning on the potter’s wheel, the drying process, firing where the heat always seems to be different. Glazing and finally the fine finish. This makes every mug completely unique.”
