The basement of the billiard house was filled with strong liquor. When the glasses were  filled, the gentlemen rang the clock. The butler came from the hunting lodge to serve the landlord and his friends. After the hunt, the men retired to the billiard house with a drink and a cigar. Although a century later the clock tower no longer adorns the roof, 't Witte Huis has remained almost intact. Interior and design studio By Mölle recovered this unique national monument in collaboration with Landschap Overijssel, owner of 't Witte Huis and the associated estate. The original brown wood paneling, ceiling, windows and floor have been beautifully restored. Furthermore, in the middle of the room a light gray block with bathroom, kitchen, closet and sliding doors was build in the original style. The fine, soft bedlinen and woolen throws are from By Mölle.

• The key of 't Witte Huis can be picked up at studio By Mölle in Dalfsen. Here you find the By Mölle collection, from blankets and pillows to tablelinen and curtains, all made from organic and recycled materials.
• The country retreat is surrounded by ancient oak trees and offers a panoramic view over the meadows. From here, two beautiful walks start on the estate.
• At about seven kilometers from the White House is located in the woods Restaurant De Witte Gans. Here, delicious dishes are prepared from French and Mediterranean cuisine.
